Small front ride height increase: effect on alignment geometry?
Hey all,
Total suspension novice here.... unfortunately I installed a front CF lip AFTER a recent alignment, only to find it's scraping in my work garage and deeper ruts. I have the MP HAS, and would like to raise up the front slightly. I have GC camber plates as well (currently at about -2.5, with zero toe). If I raise the front, say, 1/4 to 1/2", but change nothing else, in general, what effect will a raise have on the alignment parameters? Don't necessarily mind getting a re-alignment after, but would like to know for general knowledge. I suppose I could also just not re-align, then when I switch wheels for track days, temporarily dial the front height back to previous spec. Thx much |

No alignment needed is it was good prior to this. Tiny ride height changes move toe but only a very small amount and thus should not take you out of range.
Change the height and then road test for a week. If it feels good and tracks straight you're done.
