1. Hood 2. Front and rear bumper 3. Trunk 4. Wheels 513m or 437m 5. Side rockers 6. Front fenders 7. Rear fender pull 8. Blue sport brakes if you don’t already have them 9. M4 front seats 10. Side markers 11. Side mirror frames Total with paint about $15k so I would just get the real m4 but with your insurance maybe not lol |

If you're 16, you don't need a 450hp car. You're not gonna bang any more chicks then with a 428, you don't know shit about driving yet and you're gonna kill yourself in it. Everyone thinks they are an above average driver - but that's really too much car for you - you're a beginner.

Lol don't listen to what Cion says. No one on this forum NEEDS a 450 hp car, yet here we all are and you asked specifically about looks. But that being said you should def consider the performance mods (BM3 + Down Pipe ) and then wider tires for the most bang for your buck.

^^. Agreed with this
Exhaust. Intake. Wheels I had a 228 and though I went farther than that list, I shouldn’t have. Those are best bang for buck and raise the enjoyment of the car

I'm glad that when I was 16 the internet wasn't around to post these stupid questions.
My advice, be a good teenager and prove to your father that you are responsible. Maybe then he'll let you drive his CS. MY father had a collection of cars that I know not many parents would let their 16yr old son drive. However I did well in school, didn't do drugs, and worked on the weekends because I liked to make money. I never got in trouble, so when I wanted to drive one his "cool" cars on the weekend, all I had to do was say 'Dad, I'm taking the xxx to go to the boat." Yeah, he also let me take out our 50ft boat alone when I was 19.

Here's a lesson for you kid, if you want a REAL M4, you need to buy it yourself. Strive and work hard for it. Set it as your goal.

Agree with N1rve, try to buy a true M4 instead of making your 428 looks like a M4.
For a 16 years old, you may not get that very soon but when you go through the process of finally purchasing a M4 yourself, you will appreciate the car more. BTW, owning a 428 at your age is already good enough. Focus more on developing your competitive advantage(do well in school and go to a prestigious university), you will have a larger chance of getting all the vehicles you want. |

Embrace what you have because your lucky to have it. Many are not as fortunate. Work hard, be smart, then you can have your M4(or better)and more importantly one day you can buy your child a more than average first vehicle. |

It's funny how all of us here were 16 at one point and probably just like OP. And when, at 16, I heard someone say, "back in my day I had a Ford Pinto and I LIKED it!" or "Don't be a poser just save up for a the real deal!" I mentally checked out faster than Usain Bolt. I riced the shit out of my WRX with a JDM STI motor, transmission, brakes, suspension, wing, blah blah blah. Should I have saved up for an STI? Maybe, but the work I did wrenching on my car defined my teenage years.
OP, congratulations on picking one of the most expensive hobbies on the planet. Earn what money you can and spend it on what you like while you don't have major responsibilities. If I were you, I'd get some wheels and some lowering springs. That makes the most visual difference. If you don't have a warranty, then maybe a tune and exhaust. After that, see what you think.

These posts are quite something. At 16, in a developing nation, I was aspiring to get my license and get my sister to lend me her amazingly cool and fast 3 cylinder 1.0l Chevrolet Swift hatchback...
OP, life can and will throw you curveballs. Make sure you have your priorities right and plan for the down cycles. Needless to say, we are entering war time territory at this economic juncture. At your current pace, you'll be looking for a Pagani at 30. Nothing wrong with that, assuming you are working your butt off towards that and can weather everything life throws at you. |

If you want to fool majority of the people on the street, all you need to do is:
1. CF M-style mirror covers, $100 2. M4 replica body kit (if you dont have it), ~$1500 installed/painted (if you have M-sport, just skip this part, it's close enough) 3. M-performance replica lip kit, ~$500 for front lip, side skirts, spoiler and diffuser 4. Muffler delete + Quad tips, $200 installed/modified 5. Roof wrapped in glossy CF vinyl, <$30 for the roll, DIY 6. Debadge trunk, add M4 badge and get laughed at by only 10% of people who can tell the difference. $15 7. M4 hood rep, $1000-2000 8. M4 fender rep, $300-$600

If you can afford the cosmetic conversion, by all means get it done and enjoy the final product. It's your car.
Never forget that regardless of the vehicle we drive, the rules of responsible driving remain the same and get even more stringent as horsepower goes up. |

I'm just amazed this thread got more serious responses than the poor guy that wanted to paint his buttons.

Bunch of old farts on this forum I'm just kidding. Seriously though, OP likes the look of the M4 and has a 428i, what's wrong with some mods to make it look like an M4? Sure there's better ways to spend money but, if we all abided by that logic, we'd all be driving Hyundai's.
I get where you're coming from, OP. If you've got a 428i at this age you've probably got some money to spend on this. The most striking feature on a M4 is the front bumper so id start with that, a down pipe, lowering springs and a tune. That'll get you pretty far for under $4k. |

I dunno, kinda like buying a fake Rolex and trying to pass it off as real. Might look alike on the outside, but the quartz movement will never match that of an automatic.
