Someone who has 300k to blow. I'd take the S65 over the Bentley GTC any day.

Lots of harsh comments; but many people run flaps open and a mid pipe which is basically a straight pipe.

If you dislike the sound later on, you can add in the magnaflow resonators.

I dont think he can get "VTECH" stickers.
I once had a 99 Civic SOHC and I riced it out with those VTEC stickers, and a fake Skunk2 fart can. I love it. Fun highschool time.

True story: There was a man that came fix our garage, saw the car and he asked me: "Is this the 3M?" I told him: " no, this is 330ci and not a M3 either. Btw, 3M is that tape company".

Wow people are so harsh. I'd be happy to see some really loud cars on the road as long as they are not my neighbor's.

Cringe. Wtf is a rev battle. Wtf happen to the car scene? It used to be about cool fast cars, now it’s about “rev battles” disgusting retarded fuel overrun pops and flames. It’s fucking horrible. All of it.

I’m honestly embarrassed very often now being a “car guy”

Iv Owned, been involved/or tuned in builds in many drag and turn cars. The second I saw posts on here about how to add “pops and burbles” instead of asking how much power tunes were making on how much boost, I saw the path we were on. Old man here and get the fuck off my lawn kids. You guys are doing it wrong.

If you're an old man, then you should learn to keep your cool. You should do that better than a young kid, so calm down.

Hey OP, it's your car you can do whatever to it. As long as you're like it, that is all it is. That car serves "you", not anyone in this forum or the community/"lawn" of anyone.

Talk about debadge. I did mine.
I then have a set of M///3 and 320i that I can swap out since I put them on magnets. I can go with the clean look, M3 or 320i, or 230i, or 023i or what ever I like. Nothing is permament.

If the traditional "mature car scene" is chasing 0.2 seconds over a quarter mile or finding a 2 Brake horse power gain by pulling out car mats - then I want nothing to do with it.

Cars can be about enjoyment and cosmetic sound mods whether or not there is a performance gain. It's his car let him enjoy it.

I hope you never have to drive into Vancouver proper, cause with the VI blitz going on you'll get an inspection notice for sure. Cain or Christensen will pull you over for sure.

$1200 after tax is too much money, can you tell me where you got that done? It really shouldn't have costed more than $500. I looked into removing the mufflers from my Mini and putting on just pipes, it was $120.

Some one was getting rid of some titanium straight pipes locally. You really could have just asked and it would have been much better quality.

You can also forget about going to the track. Your car won't be able to run in any events. You'll get black flagged for noise if you can even pass tech. A stock F Type S can barely run in the local autocross due to noise.

The shop is called Midas in south surrey.
Not being able to track it is really a downer.
Btw I went downtown couple times already and all cruising in efficient. (Not really loud because it is all under 2k rpm) I tried to make a yellow so I gave a little gas and somehow it got up to 5k rpm and it got painfully loud with the surrounding building enhancing the sound. I didn't make the light, but the sound had set off two car's alarm. Super awkward and I was so scared that a cop was gonna come after me. I was lucky to make it home that day. Would never want an VI.

My stock comp pack in Sport mode sets off alarms, it's really not that hard.

Just avoid Vancouver and Burnaby if you can. I would put the stock pipes back on though if I were you.

cops here in white rock are so chill. I've had them seen me run reds(obviously not anymore) and do power slides but they never even bothered to turn their lights on.

The scene in Vancouver kind of sucks now. All the OG car people have all grown up and have families now. Our local car forum has now become a place to discuss sports, politics, and what daycare to send kids to. Nowadays it's all just kids whose parents have a lot of money and buy them nice loud fast cars, and a lot of them can't drive.

I bought the M3 because I need a slightly more grown up car, and I was tired of modding and trying to figure out why said mods weren't working. On top of the recent police blitz giving out wrongful inspection notices with no way to fight back, it's giving the scene it's last blow.

People fondly look back to 10 years ago when the police department was fully behind and supported the car scene. At the annual car meet, the police even landed the police helicopter at the meet as a show of support and friendship. Fast forward to now, we get pulled over for being in sport mode. People getting wrongly told by the police that aftermarket wheels are illegal.....
