Is there a DIY on how to remove leather boot from OEM knob? Searched but couldn't find anything.
Just a sharp xacto knife and carefully go around. I posted my results a few pages back.

I posted a review of this boot with the raceseng knob a while ago on this thread, during like june. Stopped using the knob but the boot was quality but yo have to get the boot ring from someone so it has the shape you need.

I just picked up the red, navy, blue and hope it matches the “tri-stitch” of the m-performance e-brake and CS wheel that I’m buying lol

Thanks for the link! I just saw this post and ordered a boot. I have been thinking about buying a sewing machine for the past couple of months. Now I don't have to.

That’s tough because the 2 you’ve mentioned are probably the 2 nicest in both feel and quality. MPerformance and 3D are both so so good in there own right. I just never enjoyed touching the 3D ball like knob after the car has been standing in direct sunlight.

like stated above only the stock knob and the LCI knob 'C' illuminates in the photo you posted. the m performance one does not illuminate, if you want the m stitched boot with the performance knob IND sells that combo.

i think IND can mate any knob you want to a boot, i bought the gloss m performance knob from a f10 and had them swap it onto their boot.

Has anyone had success with the F10 M5 ZHP shifter.
Shorter, weighted and retains illumination?

BMW part #25112284205

People run this in e46m3s a lot as well...

Curious if the switches will connect over and its essentially plug and play besides the boot.

Any suggestions for a good aftermarket shift knob/boot option that has come out lately.
