Does new engine not reported on CarFax affect value?

So here's my situation, I'm looking at a 15 m4 with around 26k miles on it. The shop that did the first tune blew the engine and it has a new engine in it that got put in by PSI Orlando with less then 10k miles on it (Owner of shop confirmed miles and condition of car). There is no paperwork on the engine as it was paid in cash, its not reported on Carfax either. How does this affect value of car? My offer to seller was 35k.

The car has a bunch of mods done
Bm3 stage 2
Pure turbos stage 2
Armytrix exhaust
Msr charge pipe
Msr performance intake
Catless down pipes

My 2c - Run away from that. Buy clean and mod yourself.

I would steer clear unless it is heavily discounted. Plenty of options on the market.

It was done by a reputable shop here in Orlando that's the one reason I'm considering it.

Sounds like someone has been experimenting with this car and beaten the heck out of it.

Also sounds like you want to hear something different than what a few have already told you. It's your money, do what you want. That said, my advice would be the same as others: run.

Not really I was just wondering if my offer at 35k was the correct price to come in at lol
