SMB or frozen blue are easily the best blues.
After that I'd say tanzanite or YMB, depending on interior color and other factors (gold CCB calipers look better on YMB etc)


I think laguna seca blue looks feminine and ehh and that Miami type blues only work on Porsche 911's. YMB is the only light-ish blue that works on these cars IMO.

Not a F80, just a humble 340i but I love my LSB, thought would contribute . The colour looks wildly different depending on the time of the day and weather conditions though.

It's a moody color for sure, best on a cloudy day. To be honest, it's absolutely incredible to look at but my dilemma would be never to go unnoticed, ever. Those mornings with a cup of coffee & a donut with every passing 16 year old giving the thumbs up, think I'm wrong?? BTW, auto looks superb.

I don’t think everyday but do think it’s a little bit louder than SMB, at the same time SMB can be pretty loud too so I think just pick the one your gut tells you, that you like most.

I will always remember the first time I saw an LSB E46 M3 (in the early 2000s) pass me with SSR GT3 wheels (so popular back in the early 2000’s) and I was just like “wow, that thing is perfect”.

I mean, yes any bright color calls for attention than a darker color. I didn’t get that much attention in my Imola Red E46 M3 but it’s considered an old car.

I’ve had lots of black, white, red and gray cars (and now technically on my 2nd blue). I noticed more attention based on the type of car (and modification choices - such as exhaust) more than the color of the car.
