He took the car to BMW- which you would hope is a competent place to get your BMW fixed? Metallic/Pearl whites are notoriously difficult to colour match- ask any body shop. Believe what you like. End of discussion.

He is right. My dealer and local body shop told me the same thing. The local body shop specifically works only on German cars so I would expect them to know what they are doing.

i kinda agree with u on this and that's why i went with AW. i had a Cayenne Turbo in an off-white and i was never fully happy with the color

Well I have to admit this is the first white car I have owned and I like the way MW shines in the sun... I think it just looks different.... But each to there own .....
