There is a local quickjack dealer who was not interested in ordering me one from US, so I went through Bendpak Aus who own quickjack Setup was very easy, operation is super smooth. I watched so many vids of irregular ramp movement but my kit seemed to go up evenly on first run You need to be a bit clever how to store it in garage so it's easy to get it setup. I put the compressor and hoses in a wheeled cabinet that will stay in there permanently, hung the hoses on back of the cabinet door, and will hang the ramps on hooks on garage wall - looking for hooks atm that will take the weight and I can drill into brick |

Here's mine about to get a tub complete with "production mainstream" wheels........think you might have forgotten about the "unsprung weight" saving which is more than significant..........I'm so not a "just for look" kind of guy. If i doesn't improve performance I don't do it!

Looks good with the tint! I am all about the "for go, not show", hence no front lip - Evolve in the UK proved it limiting top end. All the CF add-ons (IMHO) add weight, and I don't get the aesthetic gain on a CMB car. My favourite weight saving tip....only half a tank Wheels is one thing I will want looking good. The 666M have grown on me but they weigh more than the moon....

How do you increase downforce without a front spoiler and why are you looking at 20" wheels if you're "all about go"? BMW have already done it for us if you have a look at what's different on the M4 CS, GTS and GT4.

Why do you need to increase front downforce? Have you driven one? Pretty balanced IMO. Most are increasing track feel with a camber kit and R tyres. I would like to swap my front 20s for 19s to fit the correct size of Cup2 - not because 20s are bad. Or are you going to tell GT3RS owners they're off their tree as well? The only reference to downforce on a GTS? "In its most aggressive position, it can provide 210 lbs of downforce at 183 mph. The front orange splitter can also be extended up to 2.4 inches, but only do that on a track because you’ll rip it off on road bumps. When fully extended, it can provide 63 lbs of downforce at 183 mph."

The base model M4 isn't performance optimised to reach it's lap time potential on a race track. However, BMW produce faster variants with the Competition Pack, CS, GTS, and GT4 which is dedicated race car.
We don't need to reinvent the wheel or try to adopt GT3RS Porsche engineering onto an M4 when the factory has already optimised it's performance potential. BMW didn't fit 19" front wheels to the CS and GTS and 18" wheels to GT4 because 20's are better. They took 20's off the front to reduce understeer without excessive camber and consequently, the car is faster with 19" front wheels. It's unlikely that anyone driving their road cars on race tracks are close to the car's potential to determine short falls in the base model and yes, I have an M4 Competition and have driven it on race tracks and for stock car, they're excellent. The point I'm making if you want to make it potentially faster, you can simply follow the factory performance optimisation process. Here's an "all about go" example. I'm running a genuine CS front lip, 20" replacing 20" only weighing ~35% less, Brembo GTS brakes (so not for look) and and KW V4 Suspension tuned and corner balanced and matched with a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx Race tyres. Driving is believing what a change it has made. |

Enthusiasts tend to think they have a greater insight into the dynamics of a car than the manufacturer and they often do with manufactures that aren't focused on producing fast cars. However, BWM are one of the few manufactures who are heavily focused on producing fast cars and they've already done the R&D and testing for us. When BMW don't run 20" wheels on the front of their "fastest" M4's, we're running 20's for what reason? Aesthetics and that's not "all about go", it's all about what it looks like and maintaining "wow factor" trends. |

Revnev, sorry for intruding on your discussion however I have a quick question.
How did you get the 763ms in a Silver colour? I'm assuming you had them refinished? I thought there were only 3 colours available from BMW Being Frozen Gold/Black and Grey. They do look a lot better than the Black and Orbit Grey in my opinion.
