Hail Damaged CS
A friend who works at Manheim sent me these photos. Damage to guards, quarters, and metal part of roof either side of the CF.
No auction date yet. Will be part of over 60 hail damaged BMW's |

Easily repairable, although the bits either side of the roof are tricky.
Obviously the insurance company thinks this will go for a lot at the auction, which is why it is a write off. They do the sums, if the insurance payout less auction return is cheaper than the repair, it makes financial sense for the insurance company. I had a near new X5 written off like that once with relatively minor hail damage. |
