Warranty expiring soon, what can I get?

Since my factory warranty (not maintenance plan) on my 2015 M4 is ending soon, I saw some people bringing it in for various reasons to utilize their warranty before it ends (like tranny flush, brake flush, etc...).

My warranty is ending in a couple of months, what should I be looking for? Since I don't have a maintenance plan of any sort, only factory warranty, what can I bring my car in for? Can I do any preventative maintenance or anything of that sort?

New to this so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Doesn’t BMW pay dealerships for jobs they do ? I was once told that even though dealerships sell you the vehicle they want you to come in for service bc they get paid for all the work from BMW.. true or false ?

BMW of NA does pay the bill but dealers don't give stuff for "free" like they used to. I'm assuming there is some type of benefit of denying warranty repair claims for dealers.

My M4 warranty is expiring in 4 months, my SA recommended that I get it inspected there and pay for one hour, where they will separately keep track of “issues” that are found and covered by warranty. Then I make a service call request to fix those “issues” under warranty.

When I get closer to that date, I will ask for details of what and how things are inspected but I suspect 2/3 of the items are basic. In any case the one hour charge is worth it.

Fluid’s in general are inexpensive compared with other big ticket items (suspension, differential, turbos, engine related,...)

I haven’t been active lately here, but reading up on common issues before warranty ends is useful too!

free stuff? no such thing!

I suggest removing the under panels and check for leaks so they can be addressed before warranty is up.

This is what I did and I discovered the turbo leaking. I suggest everyone do this. Not easy to get to but worth it.

During that time is when everyone started finding out the charge cooler was leaking, and I had the dealer check mine, and that too was dry, so they replaced that too.
