M3 GT makes sense if they don't do an X4M or F81. There's a market for more practical fast cars. It's small but it's there. If it was available we would have bought an F84 instead of the 335GT for our babymobile.

I don't understand how they would consider an M3GT but on the other hand, they said an M4 gran coupe is never going to happen..
Doesn't the sporty M4 gran coupe make more sense? |

Until then, you buy CLA63AMG or S7/RS7. I hope BMW realizes how many customers it's losing.

GT will be cool, would be better than a wagon, but they would hv to keep it RWD, no x drive crap other wise you would buy an Audi.
I don't know how they are going to make M7 better than the B7. Maybe consider a bi-turbo v12 like the S65AMG?! The 7 is a prestige series and we don't need a M car for that. First, it's not sporty cuz it shouldn't be; second, an executive car don't need to be fast, just secure and comfortable is enough. |

I suppose the M3GT would be the ultimate hot hatch hahaha
If we don't get an M3 touring give us an M Performance model at the very least! M7 like the sound of it, as the numbers creep higher maybe we'll reach that mid-engined ///M Hypercar we all are dying to see! M7 would be a good test bed for an S version of the V12 engine. |

I don't want to live in a world where the feasibility of an M3 GT is taken into serious consideration but that of an M2 is called into question by the same company.

Needless to say, the 3GT and 5GT look horrendous; i'd rather the wagons/estates...M wagons would be nice. Regarding the M7, despite traditional M philosophy against large & heavy M cars, I think it'd be a pretty cool idea (& a competitive one) as their philosophy against large & heavy M-cars no longer stands anyway with the release of M-SAVs. They can do what they want as long as the bread & butter (M3, M5, etc.) aren't compromised in the process...wait

I'm not going to say the world " doesnt need".. an M3 GT.. but I will say it needs an M4 grand coupe and certainly an M2 gran coupe before an M3 GT.. I see nothing wrong with an M7.. .... although I feel like the M6 GC already IS an M7.... but agree with Biermann there is no reason to leave money on the table just because a bunch of whiny enthusiats think they know what's right for the M division more than BMW AG does. |
