275 vs 285

Hi,

I'm not too familiar with anything wheel related. I was wondering if 285 35 19 rears would fit on my stock 19s on the BMW M4.

I'm currently and have always been running 275 35 19s, stock suspension. Just have 15mm spacers.

Would 285s work well? Is there actually a big difference?

Will these fit the M3 as well. I've heard there is a little less room in the front.

Also what about 275/295 on 20's. 666 wheel

Yes 285 will work just fine on the rear. In fact, it's made for a 10" wide wheel which s exactly what yours is.

265/35/19front / 285/35/19rear on stock 437s and Eibach springs.

I also run 275/30/19f and 295/30/19 on stock 437s, as my city wheels.

That’s not necessarily the case. While generic 285/35R19 are mostly designed around a nominal 10” wheel, it might not be the case for some specific OEM tires.

I assumed he was talking about a generic 285 since he didnt mention a particular brand/fitment in his post.

Maybe the brand or tire type? Putting a 285/30 profile tire is a different issue.

I'm thinking about the same setup, I have Eibach springs with stock tires. Do you have spacers?

Thanks
