Slicks to 200 Tread - What size/Tire?

Hey Guys,
plan on some time attack competition soon. I am currently running 18 x 10.5 front apex ec17s and 18 x 11 rear apex ec17s. I run take off slicks, currently michelin 30/65/18s all around but need to switch to 200 tread wear for the event.

Can any of you recommend good tire sizes? Thinking of a Kumho V730 or Bridgestone RE71 or maybe you guys have a recommendation.

Would 295/35 fronts and 305/35 rears make sense, or go with something different?

thanks

I ran a new set of RE71RS last month at COTA for a two day event, they were very good. I ran some PB times vs NT01s and they felt stickier.
They will probably be my new go to tire and they handled some heavy rain getting to the track too. I am 275/35/18 square on the M2.

Here are NT01s and RE71RS after each set saw two track days this year at COTA. Fronts and rears were swapped on each set front to rear after day one.

Front camber -3.6 & Rear -2.2, tire pressure 32-34 hot on both sets

Bridgestone RE71-RS isthe new "hot" tire. They seem to have great grip and good durability. I do 295s on Apex Arc-8 in your same size wheels. They don't run 305s in 18s.

You do 295 all the way around? On 10.5 or 11.0 width wheels?

Still look good! I won't be able to swap them front to back without pulling them off the wheels first, but would give more longevity

I know a square set is sweet, I really enjoy the extra tire life.
My ‘15 and ‘19 M4’s would get maybe 60% of the tire life, but they had more grip out of the corners on a 305 tire. Tough compromise.
