Would you use these brakes?
I have 2 track days on these pads. Hawk DTC-60 Fronts. There’s plenty of meat still, but the cracks don’t make me feel good. Is it nothing or should I just go with them? Will FCP Euro take them back with so much material remaining?
I’m also concerned about the cracks at the drilled holes in my rotors. Is it time for new rotors too? |

Rotors, no problem.
Pads, I am not sure I would trust them. Most clubs will let you run rotors until cracks go to the edge of the rotor or cracks connect between drilled holes. These are cooked.

MAG22 Used the same pads with OEM rotors last year, after 4 sessions mine looked exactly the same. I have a thread in here with the photos. However my rotors don’t have cracks.
You could send the photos to DTC and get their opinion. My Indy Shop suggested they were fairly cooked, and after 4 track days plus a few thousand miles of fun, I got my moneys worth. I opted to pitch the pads and looking to go with something from PFC and GiroDisc.
