Cool Is the Mini Clubman a safe car?

My mom wants to get the clubman but my dad doesn't think its a safe car, is this true?

Government crash tests show the Cooper performed well. I suspect the Clubman will as well.

However, the reality is small cars are less safe than large.

I guess performing well in crash tests does not matter as much as how often a driver is likely to die in the real world.

In reality small cars have a much better chance of avoiding the brunt of a crash than large ones.

Smaller > Large. This is a general statement though and certain cars are exceptions.
