Loved the review for a few reasons:
Like the effort in being organized. An outline adds so much polish (even with a dog snoring in the background!).
Really like the sense of genuineness. I like that you are an owner that sees both the flaws and the beauty of the car. While "pro" reviewers are great identifying the flaws, and many amateurs see mostly beauty, I like the broader, honest view you have. Refreshing.

This makes me ask, Nick, how are those Silverstone seats holding up? I wanted to go that route, but was scared of ruining them since I wear blue or black jeans everyday.

Rather ironic use of the word "poor" right there.

Thanks for the video report, OP.

Re the post on hand position, 9-3's easier for the indicators too

I like it man. It's better than the M4 VS reviews on youtube. All they show is the M4 on track which is cool but i always wanted to see someones opinion on it being a daily driver. thanks for this

1) Hands are apart allowing you to react faster to emergency situations.

I bet you wear leather driving gloves, don't you.

Great review Nick! IMO, it was more polished and better organized than other reviews I have seen by professional auto journalists.

How has the DCT been for daily driving and at slow speeds?

Thanks for the lecture Mr. Safety. I'm sure Nick is ever so grateful for your insightful advice. Now please chill out.

Apparently you're not familiar with him and his background. He's done a shit ton of reviews..don't need to be a a 2000 post member on here to have done a good review..just sayin.

YouTube his name and you'll see dozens of reviews..
I've seen his reviews. about his bad luck with his porsche?
having a radar and dashcams and blah blah dont excite me. but as always?!

i will say this vid was good though.

dude get off his dick. the hand position saying is true. sometimes you have to let go in order to straighten the car out during a skid.

and in the hooning section of his video. i didnt see evidence of a complete controlled drift. hes just spinning out everywhere. cant talk about driving at the "limit" when you cant pull off a great skid.

while the other youtube auto journalists out there are....

Brilliant and honest review. I watched your first video a few weeks back and was impressed.

Literally thought the same exact thing! But watched every minute! Great review.

It has now made me fall in love with this car. Another jack of all trades type of vehicle with even more practicality and useful features.

Great video, man! You've made me feel a whole lot better about the m4. For a while, I was thinking I'd have to get an e92 m3 or a 911 for my next upgrade, but I'm feeling better and better about this one.

I've seen a couple of your clips before. That 911 was so sexy!

If I remember correctly, you said you got your car from BMW of Bridgeport. I actually also had some trouble with them a couple years ago. The salesmen didn't really seem to give a shit about anything.

Glad you're enjoying your m4, though!

What an incredible review! So well thought out and articulated. I know the kind of time commitment this thing takes, and I really appreciate you having gone through the effort.

Great review Nick. Never respected you more than now. You made excellent points about the new M4 and I fully agree with your critiques except for the P position for the DKG. I just got used to using the handbrake all the time in my E60 M5.
