I notice the m3 was leaking coolant. Could be a leaking intercooler. But yeh my zcp didnt kick on the fan like the other one. Other one was loud.

Fan still on for few minutes after ignition is turned off

My MY18 M3 fans would run after I turned my engine off, but after dealer replaced my oil pan gasket and valve cover for an oil leak my fan turned off when I turned the car off. What's really odd is if I leave the car sitting 1,2 or even 3 days the fans start blowing as soon as I turn the car on for about a minute and turn off.

Usually if the climate control is set to auto with a/c engaged it will cycle on the you start the car then cycle off unless the a/c is needed to treat the air.

As for it running when you shut the car off.... it is still cooling down the coolant temp since when you shut car off and coolant stops flowing it tends to heat up quickly in spots

Exactly...The Alfa Romeo 4c has a electric timed turbo cool down flow function. it always sounded like the cooling system was gurgling & whining but it was the pump running and flowing coolant
