I did my steering coding via FDL-coding by changing the parameter of "Variantencodierung Normal" in the EPS module. I played with different settings, and finally like the F82GTS setting the best - it is lighter and eliminates the dead zone in the middle.

Hope this helps.
That worked like a charm. Thanks! I guess I need to read up on VO coding on how to enable GTS MDM mode. I enabled euro MDM, and its marginally better compared to US MDM.

Let me know how that works.

If you do not wish to use VO coding, then you can use E-sys Coding Verification to create NCD's and TM NCD / CAFD tool to compare and highlight change(s).

I'll have to give coding verification a go. Been using .32 esys for a little bit now, but will go back to .27 just for this.

Thanks! TM's NCD/CAFD tool is a life saver!

I only use 3.32.1_64bit for programming. I stick to 3.27.1 for coding for full functionality, including Coding-Verification and External Transmitter.

So doing the above and using 4S93 will get GTS steering and diff settings, but how would it change EDC as the GTS has a non-adpative setup? Also, would coding the EGS as well lead to GTS DCT changes?

Does one need the full PSDZdata or will Lite suffice?

Does anyone have a link to the PSDZ full?

Steering and Diff are in separate ECU's. So is VDC.

EGS is flashed with Full PSdzdata, not coded, which only requires light.

Right, in your post on Page 1 you mentioned coding VDC. I am confused as to why. Wouldn't doing so message up the coding on an adaptive damper equipped F80?

And can the steering/diff be coded with the light version, only the EGS requires full?

Some people think it performs better. Others say worse. It is all preference.

All coding can be done with Lite.
Only programming requires full.

Do you have lots of FDL coding in those modules you do not want to have to recode after VO?

I have searched for this pdf but couldnt find it, so those settings are helpful. Is there an ultimate end-all guide for GTS coding? Seems these threads are mainly folks testing alternate settings...

1. Make sure update VCM is unchecked in E-sys Settings
2. Connect to Car
3. Read FA
4. Change Typecode (in FA) to GTS variant
5. Activate FA
6. Hold Control and select modules you wish to code
7. Select Code

i wrote a lot about flashing EGS4. With my M4 2020, changing FA to GTS doesn´t provide the appropriate swfl.
Never run into that issue, but you can always edit tal if needed.
