Bought full screen car play this AM from http://bimmer-remote.com/ and had the download package and instructions within the hour. Followed instructions and 5 mins later, full screen CarPlay.

hello thought I try it this way as messenger wasn't getting it done.

I used your file I bought to upgrade and activate full screen CarPlay.
works great and service was fast.

now I need to make other changes using Bimmercode to the HU module but I cannot get to read says software modified needs to be returned to stock.

I have been told Esys can do this can you provide the instruction or a link to do this. be nice to update to the latest from ware also if that is possible. I've only recently got Esys to do the ungrade to my brakes to Porsche Panamera brakes.

I can always use bimmmer code to return the carplay if I lose it doing the upgrade to latest firmware stock. (or Esys if I find the instructions).

I got NBTEVO_X upgrade from kubax86 at https://bimmer-remote.com it went super smoothly. Clear instructions for download and preparation, and then quick, no-bs customer service at the scheduled appointment. After the upgrade, the car was already in CarPlay fullscreen, and I can toggle it back and forth using BimmerCode.

Recommended!

Finally updated the idrive firmware to Y but having trouble coding, finalizing the whole idea of Carplay fullscreen.

Carplay came as fitted from new but after the flash theres no carplay onthe idrive anymore even though my iphone connects up with no issues do I need to code the ID5 to ID6 lite and carplay fullscreen to eventually see it?

you can use any adapter as long as its wired for example MHD adapter with a cable - can be used
