HELP!

I recently just installed my (m performance electronic steering wheel) after reconnecting the battery I now have a “driver restraint system malfunction” error code. What might of caused this and how can I fix it? Has anyone else experienced this? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Would need to check faults and clear if that's the case.
Might be something disconnected as well.

I can do remote session for you or send you ISTA and you'll DIY.

kubax86 thanks for your response, after careful investigating I knew what I did wrong. I had reconnected the battery while the steering wheel was off to adjust the steering column and I remember that code going off right of way. Would it be possible to clear it via bimmercode?

No, bimmerlink,Tool32,Transmitter,ISTA or any other tool that can clear DTC
