Extra Year of CPO?
Hi everyone -
So I pick up my M4 next week with a total Warranty of Manu+CPO until 4/2021. My sales rep informed me today that they have a deal going on this month that an additional year of CPO can be purchased at half price, $3100. Is it worth it? |

It's probably a one year warranty the dealer is offering, as I've never heard of BMW offering an additional year of CPO coverage. $3100 sounds like a lot for only one year.

The platform is way too reliable for such an expense. You would be hard pressed to break even even with a spun crank hub unless it killed the motor.

OP, that is correct, that is about half price. That would take your warranty out to April/22 but also retains the unlimited mileage. That is the main reason it is so expensive. You can drive 1 million miles before that date and still be covered. You can probably shop and find a warranty for less money that factors in mileage. |

If you pull the DCS on any CPO car for sale, there will be pricing quotes for 1 and 2 year extensions. The finance office can extend it beyond that. I have been working at a BMW dealer for years.

Ahh is this the CPO "wrap"? I'm genuinely curious, I'm on my second CPO and neither dealer even mentioned it!
