Did you not sit in one before?
Seats are one of the first things i check before choosing a car or options. |

Yes, I did, but my wife didn't. I thought the seats were a little less than perfect, but I could live with them. Didn't really have much of a choice, as the rest of the car checked all of my other boxes. TBH, I didn't want my wife to sit in them before I bought the car, cuz she would have tried to talk me out of it, and I wasn't going to put up with that.
Now, on the backside of my decision, I need to find a solution that will temper the whining.

Seems like two other options would be:
1. Take an alternate vehicle (assuming you have one) those 2 days a week. 2. Have her sit in the backseat. There have been a few threads on this topic, not sure if they ever came up with a solution.

Put her in the child seat, give her a lollipop - done. Seriously the things people complain about lol.
No but on a more serious note it's not an uncommon complaint, and while I cannot recommend a specific pillow, any one will do!

yooooo... one week in on zcp seats and i'm personally having the same issue. more than 30 minutes in the seat and i'm feeling it. i've tried every option with the adjustments and it doesn't get any better. trying to figure out what to do from here, either find a small pillow of that fits or source a non zcp, non leather seat. know of any out there for sale?
^ and the side bolsters are adjustable. |

I feel for your pain, really!
But at the same time, I don't understand how someone "petite" is at the same time wide-enough to have their arms being pushed forward by the side bolsters.... maybe I'm just not picturing "petite" correctly? |

As I approach my order date I read this....90% comfort is somewhat disturbing news. Here's a suggestion that really worked to perfection on my last Bimmer...Tempurpedic SMALL Lumbar support pillow. Do not purchase the large. They are only available from their web sight, about $55. Thanks 4 the bad news & hope your wife can find comfort!

rather than a splurging on a fancy pillow that might not work..use some towels...fold or roll to your thickness/firmness needed, tape it a few times and throw it in a pillow case...it's a shame to hear about the seats though...might be a deal breaker....hmmmm

She wouldn't like the non-CP seats either if she complained about the 550 seats. If taking another car isn't an option, try ignoring / tuning her out. It takes a few years of practice to really do it effectively but once you master a technique, you'll find yourself doing it without even trying.

Go to Relax the Back and get her a specialized car back cushion. You could also get her (and you) a custom race seat insert. Maybe?
If you're going to have the car for a few years, it might be well worth it.

My wife is tiny too. She disliked the non-ZCP seats. She won't like the ZCP ones any more than the non-ZCP. As another poster said, let her drive it and the seats stop being a point of conversation.

Seats are the sole reason I had to give up the ZCP. Both my wife and I have bad lower backs and we just couldn't get comfortable without adjustable lumbar support, used at different degrees. The standard seats are extremely comfortable for us but not the ZCP.
Honestly, you should've brought your wife along to test the seats prior to ordering, if she is going to have any seat time in this car at all.
