The annoying wife thread

So, anyone else got this problem ?

90% of the time, I'm travelling with my wife.

It's either, the speed limits X, BRAKE, STOP... TOO fast...

I didnt buy this car to drive it like a 80 year old senior on his way to church

Time to ban her completely from the M.

My $0.02, you’re going about it the wrong way.

Let your wife drive and take her to driver training so she can get more into the hobby. (Eg M track days)

She’ll be commenting about suspension tuning and using wide open throttle herself in no time.

She's driving now.. as I type

" I enjoy cruising " she says..

She admits herself how decieving the speed is, feels like your travelling X ( slower ) but substantially higher speed.

You gotta learn how to tune her out whenever necessary. Everyone will be happier.

For me, the complaints were all about the seats being too stiff, no lumbar support, etc.

lol a few months in on my F80 my wife blurts out of nowhere, "i don't like your car..."

i responded with an incredulous "why?!?"

"it's loud and it accelerates too fast!"

i died lollll. she does like the seat bolsters which keep her in place when i drive like an asshole. that wasn't the case with my genny.

Lol!!

My wife says my car sounds like a trumpet.. the my 70 year old father in law , visiting from Poland asked me if my exhaust had a hole in it..

When I told him it's a 5000$ M performance exhaust, he replied ; Wow. People pay for this ?

He loved the car though.

You feel blessed when her biggest complaint about your M4 is that the center console makes
It difficult to give road head...

My wife hasn't complained, ever, so I may be lucky lol. She actually will tell me and say, "go fast!", and I'll do a small pull for her.

I just got my second F80 lowered today, and on the way out to dinner, she goes, "OHHHH, you lowered it today huh? She looks good!" Lol

I have the opposite problem - my wife says I drive like a grandma, just because I'm not mashing it every time, running every yellow light, and going 80+ on the highway

I found that early in our relationship any time there was feedback on driving I reacted somewhat violently. Hard pull to the side, hard brakes, etc. then followed up with "hey you can't do that, it doesn't allow me to concentrate and keep us safe"

Wife hates my F80, hates the competition seats, thinks my 911 was a better car... She's wrong... I just floor it and move on.

This thread is funny because my wife is reading over my shoulder so I must tread lightly. I do have another window open pricing M Performance HAS and she was asking why I need those. I said botox for the wheel wells, touche!

My wife calls my car monster but she does like the car. She only notices speeds above 100 mph.

I typically play the music she likes and run the air conditioner. ( I almost never run the A/C unless I have passengers.)

We did a day trip to Baltimore from Connecticut and she fell asleep about hour into the drive. By the time she woke up we were about an hour away.

She said it was like taking a flight.

Please fasten your seatbelts we've been cleared for take off. Flight time will be 4 hours 30 minutes. Weather looks great. Enjoy the flight.
