My wife is of the complaining type too - the car is too noisy, too firm, feels like I am driving too fast in the cormers.... Did I really have to floor it (when I didn't). i am on my best behavior when she is in the car and yet I get gripes all the time. She said she was a better driver even after two beers. I said, yes hon you certainly are!

Dear Wife,
Driving this car the way I want to takes my mind away from having an affair. Sincerely, Men. |

My girlfriend complains if I don't drive like a grandma, but drives like a maniac when it's her turn.
Her complaint is she gets car sick as a passenger so only she can drive like a maniac

Wife never really complained about my M3/GT3 as much as the money I've spent on them.
M3 was on 100% E85, catless dp, AA midpipe and Remus catback - absolutely no complaints other than the smell with the windows down. GT3 when it was straight piped with catless equal length headers - no complaints other than when it spat out the occasional flame. Currently it's a bit more tame on stock headers, but only for another week or two She doesn't like harsh acceleration, but doesn't mind when I give her a heads up that I'm about to. I'm a pretty lucky guy.

she doesn't care how i drive in the M3 or 458. sliding with traction off or 130+ on the highway. she knows it makes me happy
im honestly more nervous with her driving. she's always got her attention on something else and inches from the curb... she's even tapped the curb while driving 30-40mph in town with her accord

Picked up my wife's friend today; female. As we are planning a trip and leaving tomorrow for Florida. .
Drove the car like I stole it, she actually encouraged it, and had a grin ear to ear. LOOOOVED IT. Guys.. it's been confirmed. The female species vary. / case study #10433 |

Yea right... dream on. ( no offense). My GF same way. Scared to death of fast cars, drives like a scared cat, afraid of any motor that makes an aggressive noise, afraid of the highways, etc. etc. I don't pick her up in the M anymore. Jeep grand Cherokee every time.

My wife doesn't care but I was smart enough to buy her new car first...lol
She knew I was a car guy when we met and has suffered through many, this one at least has all the creature comforts. But usually when we go out we take the MDX so she stays more comfortable. My daughter loves me driving aggressively so at least there's that. I'll probably pay for that one day when she starts driving... |

My son doesn't have the car bug.. he's 15.. and far more mature then me in ways. ( mom's side ) When we spoke about him getting a driver's license next year, I asked him if he wants to drive the M. ( not that I'd let him anyway..) His reply was ; No.., it's too much of a car for me to handle as a first time driver. According to him, Volvos are "safe" LOL. The odds of a 15 year old kid saying that? My jaw dropped.. Then he hit me with, he wants to go to law school. Figures |
