Yes, no problem. Can add or remove it to any mode.

We had some fun today on the dyno with a Stage II M3. Hit 550wtq. Hopefully the owner will post up the videos he took. This was a 75wtq gain over his Stage I setup (dyno above)

Dyno results from stage 1 tune with AA catless DP and AA midpipes vs stage 2 tune. Video is of stage 2 tune. Enjoy!

P.S. Mike you da man!! thanks for the all the time and effort you put into this. Havent really had the chance to drive with the upgraded tune as its been raining here in New orleans.. As soon as i have some driving time i will report back with my thoughts..

Go "gentle" during adaptation?

Just got the email from Mike last night delivering my CS tune software. VERY excited to get this loaded up today, but wondering if the "adaptation" period is like the initial 1200 mile break-in period where the car should be driven more modestly. Main reason I'm asking is that I have an autocross coming up next weekend and just want to make sure there's no issues/concerns there.

Sorry if that's a stupid question, but this is my first tune. EVER. So...yeah...still a touch of nervousness about doing this. But mostly excitement.

Nope adaptation will happen very quickly. After driving it a few times it should be fully adapted. No need to baby it or drive any differently.

Aggressive Burbles Stage 1

Quick little vid after driving around. Much thanks to Mike for hooking it up. This is the new "Aggressive Burbles" setting.

Sound and pressure amplified and sounds much more audible. Increase in volume from burbles sounds almost like upgrading to downpipes. This will definitely hold me over in the time being

Mike also raised my burbles to no speed cap too. Texas speed limits are fairly high so it's nice to be able to hear it over 50mph. I'll do another vid later of driving around.

I just have a fun story to share about the tune. I have stage 1 and was tracking in A group this weekend at VIR with BMW CCA. I paired up with a guy I had not previously met in an M4 for the side by side exercises. We get on the back straight and here I am thinking I'm gonna have to hold back a little but he's hanging with me tit for tat full throttle. I'm thinking WTF is this!?!Immediately I start thinking ill of the tune but afterwards I'm taking to him and it turns out he has the BPM tune also! We got a good laugh out of it. The M straight line can hang with any car on the track. Z06s will outpace it but it's not dramatic. Brand new GT3 was just barely faster. It's amazing how much it throws you back in your seat even shifting into 5th from redline. Amazing how I can take my kids car seats out of the back and then hang with or simply outpace other purpose built sport cars. 👍👍👍

OK CS map for my point of view is very very good.
A perfect compromise for daily use and track day.

The only main issue is the Pedal feeling in sport+ : It's too "furious".
Impossible to drive when rain or in not good asphalt.

I have driven a real MY2018 M4 CS and the pedal feeling it's perfect.

Prior to taking my car for service I flashed my car back to stock from a CS tune and drove it for a day then to the dealership. After getting my car back I flashed back to the CS tune but didn't think about clearing the adaptations. Car drove fine on stock tune and drove fine to the gas station and back on the CS tune.

Question for the experts, should I go back and clear the adaptations or is it unnecessary since I'm back to the tune that I have been running for the last 10k miles?

We have some cool features in development that we will announce at the time of our new website launch (which is long overdue).

For those of you that haven't seen, check out the S55 E30 build we were a part of:
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1551321

The build uses the factory key, DME, cluster, DSC unit, etc - has an OBD port and acts like a stock F8x M3 - pretty cool upgrade!

One of our customers sent a picture of two BPM F8x's battling at VIR:

Stay tuned!

I was just flashing stage I back to the car since I was just in for warranty work, but only a couple minutes into the "program ecu memory" process and I get this error. Laptop still plugged in. Called support but I got voicemail. I have things I need to do so I have to unplug laptop and leave the car.

I hope it is easily recoverable?

Attempt the flash again. We've never had one that wasn't recoverable. Make sure the cable is not disturbed during the flashing process and that the connections are tight and the ignition is on.

We are on other calls. Try in 10-15 min and the phone lines should be free. Alternatively you can send a PM with your contact number and we will reach out to you.

Thank you

I flashed it again as you suggested, and everything worked perfectly. All the usual noises accompanying the process were putting me at ease.

When I had tried it and got the error, it was suspiciously quiet.

Thank you guys for your great service!
