Carly Adaptor

Hi All,

I'm frustrated to learn that Carly has gone to a subscription based model which is simply too expensive for what they are offering. I bought my adapter in January and now without the subscription of $72.00 per year it's pretty much useless.

Does any one know of any other coding options which don't involve an annual subscription or Hipkin the car up to a laptop?

Carly has offered to buy back my adaptor rather than give me a years subscription. Very strange decision on their part.

Have you looked in to Bimmercode? You just need to pay for the app and a supported obd dongle. Works beautifully on my car. No subscription:

I can't believe they riased their prices that high

I was one of the lucky ones who purchased the app back in 2014 when they were a beta and was automatically given a lifetime free subscription. Best 30 bucks spent

If you have already purchased the App before they raised the prices then you are Good. You are an life time member for free. I emailed them and also sent them the date I purchased it, and they replied that I have a lifetime membership.

Thanks for all the advice. I didn't buy the app because it did everything I needed it to do when I first downloaded it. Now they took away functionality and are asking you to buy it back. Very shady business practice. While I liked the product when it worked, I will not endorse Carly now.

I’ve been using bimmer code for sometime and I would say it works pretty great. Especially like how does a back up before applying settings.

Bimmercode works pretty good for me. What does Carly offer that is worth them asking a annual fee?
