Yes that would be perfectly fine, and you can probably keep running those stock ones for another 10k miles to be honest! 11k is about half of the life expectancy

Perfect timing! Just got mine and installed. Here is my video of why I got NGK 97506, and a really simple effective way to gap them! Hope it helps

So would everyone recommend gapping at 0.2 on stage 1 91 octane?

(I think you meant .020) That may still be a taaad aggressive...Maybe .022 a .024 would be better for that stage/power level?? Anyone please feel free to chime in or correct me.

I just installed the JB stage 1 tonight. I have the BMS air intakes, just installed oem bosch plugs 3k miles ago at the stock gap of .28 I had no problems driving but only drove it woth the stage 1 tune on for 30 min. I don’t have ngk’s just the Bosch spark plugs. So I’m guessing they can be gapped with no problems and if so what do I gap them too? I have a 2015 non comp pack DCT car. Mods: Bms air intake, MPE, (I have the exhaust flaps on full open all the time) JB Stage 1. 93 octane.

That's the Bosch OEM part #.

If you want an "///M" imprinted on yours, that BMW part # would be:

* 12120039634

Cheers!

Yes that’s my part number but I didn’t get the M on mine because it was a waste of a extra 30$. So gap is .22 for jb stage 1?

> .023 ~ .020 - in that range.

Cheers!

That number is printed on the box along with ZMR5TPP330. The only number on the plug is ZMR5TPP330. So I have to question the ZR5TPP330 number.

Just call Bosch and they will tell you they don’t make an actual plug for our cars. I called them twice and gave them the ZR5TPP330 number and was told it’s not for 2015+ M3 or M4. I was quite surprised at the answer I got both times. Call them and see!

It's the "M" in the part # for the imprinted "///M" on the part, being the difference?!?

… Hey, I may be wrong ?!?

Since they are an OE Manufacturer, they're more than likely contractually obligated Not to sell you the part.

You cannot buy "Bosch Part #ZMR5TPP330" from Bosch or any of their authorized resellers.

Obviously false. If they even acknowledge it, they will direct you to your local BMW Dealer for Part # 12120039634 - Which Is Manufactured By Bosch!

Bosch Part #ZR5TPP330 has many (BMW & ...?) different applications. The difference for our use, is in the gap.

Can anyone confirm that a thin wall socket is needed to remove the plugs? I have a few regular ones.

Have you used the Bosch ZR5TPP330? I already bought them but would feel better knowing someone has used them on an F8X without issue.

Edit: someone claimed they are different, not sure if this is true....ZMR5TPP330 vs ZR5TPP330 = the middle electrode's diameter is different -> 0.8 mm vs 0.6 mm
