Passenger restraint system light after spill in seat

Spilled a cleaning product(watered down degreasser) on the seat in my m4. It went down the holes and the passenger restraint system light came on. I have tried drying it with clothes and disconnecting the battery but not working. Is hair drying it my best bet ?

air bag systems are sensitive to voltage resistance, after fully drying it try to clear the code and see if it comes back. srs light won't turn off itself unless you clear the fault codes. most likely on for passenger occupancy detection fault if you spilled it on passenger seat
