Absolutely stunning car and house!! The smile on your sons face says it all. That's how my son feels every time he gets in the ///M with me!
Congratulations on your stable of ///M's and continued success my friend.

Thanks all for the very nice compliments.

It was quite the ordeal to track down the OEM "M" 0w40 oil. Turns out its no longer available anywhere in Mexico except for a remaining case I was able to get from a dealer in Mexico City (with great help from the service manager there who is also a club member and who got me the CS). I live in a different city.

I had to fly to MC for work and to pick up the M5 and I am driving back tomorrow with the right oil in the trunk. It seems that here BMW is just using "normal" 5w-30 on the newer M cars which is ok because we don't really get super low temperatures.

In any case, I hope to get the right oil in the car by Friday. But then I leave for the weekend on a trip with my wife so won't really be able to properly use the CS until next week. Well, good things come to those who wait I hope.

I don't believe the cs calls for different oil than the regular m3/4 does it? If not, any ll-01 or ll-01fe oil will work (i.e. the 5w30 or 0w30 your dealership would put in is also the correct oil).

Exact same oil as any S55 of course so you're right. Manual says 0w40 or 0w30. The dealer only had 5w30. I think that would have been ok especially since it doesn't get that cold here.

But the 10w60 they originally put in was definitely wrong. In any case I am glad it's finally done. Next oil change if they only have 5w30 I'll go with that.

You mentioned some rattling on your shadow line window trim - what trim part is it specifically? Pic?

Thanks

The upper shadow line on the windows creaks a lot. It is a known issue on M3s. There are a few threads about it around here.
