Exhaust Rattle @ 2K RPM ONLY [MPE]

Hi all!

After 200 kms of installing catless ER Dps, very annoying unbearable exhaust rattle has been developed with my MPE (with carbon tips)

There is very "short" rattle when rev up, and relatively "longer" rattle when rev down. It happens at all gear and revving in neutral.

It was only at 2k rpm before, and now there is rattle at 1.5k rpm as well (sometimes)

Here I tried to take a video, but not too sure if you all can hear it.

Would it be the loosen valves rattling? God I HATE IT SO MUCH!
Whenever I am in the city of downtown, people look at me with wth face for rattling sound. It is that loud.

Thank you all for feedbacks!

Just take it back to whoever installed your DP's, its prob a brace or something loose/rubbing which is creating this. Surely an easy fix.

Yea you should ask who installed it for you. There could be many things that can rattle, the tips, the heat-shield above the exhaust, a loose hanger. Mine was a loose exhaust hanger and was a quick fix.

Start by simply removing the tips off the exhaust, before lifting the car. Sometimes it is just as simple as that.

I have had two MPE exhaust replaced under warranty for bad rattles\loud vibration at low rpm. This was traced to broken valves both times

Replacement

Even if the mpe was not installed thru dealership, does the mpe itself has warranty regardless the installer? Or the warranty follows the installer?

Not on mine. Best way would be to have the car on ramps and have a friend replicate the sound till you narrow it down.

I had a rattle on mine for a couple of weeks when I found out it was the bolt on the center pipe hitting against the center brace right below the pipe. Readjusted it and its been quiet ever since except for the loud startup.

When whoever put your dps on did the job they didn't tighten one of the o2 sensors so odds are one of them is dangling off the very small gap in the heat shield right next to the midpipe, vibrating against your midpipe.
