I personally like E92 much better except the interior.

I think when the M3/M4 are actually in showrooms, the design is going to be that much better in person.
I think seeing it in person, and actually driving down the road will change a lot of peoples opinions. I've seen a 435 at my dealer and thought it looked ok, but then two days ago, I saw a white 435 next to me on the highway and was like WOW!!! It looked low, and wide and really good. I think seeing the F82 in person and in motion will be incredible.

i wouldnt say that at all for audi

the r8 will be a timeless design.

I also think the b5 s4 was fantastic and still looks good and of course the b7 RS4 is still a great looking car even though its going on 8 years old.

I think that every m3 has been a timeless design so far, and think the same will be true of this car.

This one is not as easy for me! E92 definitely holds its own (to my eye) to this one.

The E92 still looks great, but the F82 easily takes the cake. I know a lot of people still complain about the interior of the new 3/4 series, but BMW has definitely taken a BIG step in the right direction from the E92.

The F32 looks good from a distance hahaha, every time i go to a BMW dealer and see the F32up close, they look odd.

I just said the same thing in a different post. Although Im not absolutely in love with the new design, I think it is a great looking car overall. Sure certain design elements I would change or may have preferred a little differently but what car do you love every single design aspect of? Not many, Aston Vanquish comes to mind.

When seen on the street its presence will be realized. It is low, wide and mean.

I had the exact experience. I saw a couple of 4's at the dealer... "cool". I saw an EB 435 M Sport driving down the road.... DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new M3 and M4 are going to elicit an even bigger response from me, especially in SO, YMB or AY!

There was a huge difference going from e36 m3 to e46, huge difference going from e46 to e92, but the e92 and f82 look pretty similar, small differences here and there. I'm not really impressed.

When I first saw the e92, my jaw dropped. Even now, with tint and the right rims, it is timeless! The design is flawless. The f82, in pictures, looks nice to me. It's a good looking car. It seems a softer version of e92. I will have to see f82 in real life. It's just not making me drool. The f80 surprisingly looks great compared to e90.

I don't think the F82 looks softer than the e92 at all!!!!! I own one and think the front face is softer on my car by far. The M4 looks pissed off and I love it

My take:

Front view = Tie
Front ¾ view = E92
Side view = E92
Rear ¾ view = E92
Rear view = F82
Interior =F82
Engine bay= E92 for that V8

I still find myself staring at the '05 IB ZCP's that I see in my city on occasion. My '05 ZCP is the only M3 that I really, really miss. I had such a personal connection to that car, and I truly do regret getting rid of it (...especially since it was partially because of the girl I was engaged to at the time...........and we didn't even work out in the end; Fucking women!!!!). If I could have my '05 back with the Nav/BT/Comfort Access of today's BMW's, I'd be a happy fucking camper right now. I even had the OEM M3 CSL carbon fiber center console in this car too (..Sigh! The good ol' days when Crevier BMW could get their hands on the European stuff).

For nostalgia's sake. I miss you!

..and the day I removed the TEIN suspension:

..and the day I traded her in for the 2006 330i sedan:

.....and the damn replacement:

+1 Couldn't have said it better. I can't wait to see one of these IRL driving down the road. I hope it gets my heart pumping like seeing that E92 blast past me! Which caused me to go and buy one.

e46M3 ZCP still holds its own. nice blue one!

New M3/4? Yeah from angles it looks better. I think it will look killer in person though. I thought the 435 was pretty ugly, but when I saw it on the road I had to do a double take. Looked nice in real life.

that e92 side profile still looks hot! GREAT proportions and lines...

M4 ftw
I have to say though that the 4 series I've seen IRL look bland and boring.
