I’ve had a rock stuck between my heat shield before & reversed really hard to get it out but I can’t seem to do it this time. Any tips on how to get it out?

Sounds like when rocks/debris gets stuck between the rear rotors and the backing plates.
There is an aftermarket part that you can install without replacing/removing the backing plate to prevent further issues.

I think AGA makes the part.
