For anyone interested here is the video - it's for a F30 with non M sport brakes which might explain why he says it's a T27 bolt but on my M4 it's definitely a T30..

What error code did you have and what did you use to scan it? I have the same diff malfunction error but I'm getting a 1b0a21 - no wheel speed signal received code. Cheers. |

Bimmerlink - can't remember what the exact code was but it referred to the front left wheel sensor. You need to clear it as well.

Just had the same warning on the dashboard again - this time it shows as front right ( replaced the front left last time ).
Seems odd to have two fail in short succession but maybe I'm just unlucky.... Or something else is playing up

Replaced front right earlier - hopefully no more to replace.
It was filthy dirty though - did wonder cleaning it back up and refitting to see if that resolved it as well?

Was looking at mine when I removed it... i think they aren't water tight either so water ingress is likely. Which explains why mine went off with a powerful pressure washer

I'm suffering the exact same problem on my f82, had this sensor replaced late 2018 same, diff lock and ABS errors thrown. Latest fault was directly after me pressure-washing the wheels so this could well be the cause of the problem.
