For sure! I'm supposed to be at Thunderbolt this Friday (3/15) but I might not be back in town from a work trip. Looks like MoE's first day at Lightning isn't until May 6th. Kinda far away. I might try to jump into a PCA event or something just to get a feel for how this pump improves things. I look forward to catching up with you too!

Tomorrow is the day…will be making an attempt to do this tomorrow.

At the track this weekend, hope to be able to test at Willow Springs with its long right hand carousel.

Stay tuned…

Good luck! and let us know how it goes! You're going to be shocked how easy it is. Although you're fully caged... so I hope you're flexible. lol

Definitely let us know how it tests at Willow Springs!

Well, as several of you said…it’s pretty straight forward; and much of it was so…

However, the part where you feed the pump over is pretty blind; it seems that I got it fed over as I felt it suddenly weighing/puling down once it fell to the other side. Let’s hope…

Second, I did route the corrugated hose behind the pump; I think that was one of the corrections…let’s hope it is correct

Finally…in regards to the wiring, I did put the neg on a switch only because I am running a very small battery and wanted to be able to limit the runtime if i am tuning with the ignition on or similar.

Lastly, my wiring is pretty thinned out; so I could not get power from the block the documentation suggested; however the next block had empty 5 amp slots; so used a switched power from there.

So all in all, not difficult; but definitely a quirky install procedure due to some of the ambiguity.

I am trying to figure out how to test the pump, I turned it on with the just IGNITION on and did not hear anything.

Should I hear the pump running or hear the fluid moving? Tempted to open the top of the LPFP and see if I can see the fuel moving over from the passive side. Thoughts?

PS, having a 4 door Civic M3 helped with the access to the rear seats

You should definitely hear the pump running when switched to on

Yup, I hear it running now.

Glad that I wired it with a switch to be able to toggle it…

All seems good, including fuel level sensor.

Let’s see how it works…

Thanks for all the tips posted here…

Hmmm, now I'm paranoid I've got a power problem with mine. I can't hear it with ACC on / engine off. With multimeter, power is confirmed to the fuse box, and I'm getting continuity when I test the pump ground and power wires at their very ends, disconnected from the ground post and fuse box. And I double-checked all the connections when I did the install.

Can someone confirm that if you open gas cap and open the flap with a screwdriver, that you can hear it by putting your ear there? (Don't let your neighbors see)

If you are in a quite place / garage, you should hear it with the car in ignition mode.

Obviously, I have no interior…I hear it pretty loud

Thanks, sounds like with full interior I should at least be hearing something... well, once tank runs down a bit more will prob just try to lift main pump out a bit to see if I can confirm the new pump is dumping into bucket.

Always something

Im still running the surge tank in the boot with two pumps. With the boot floor cover, and rear seat in I can't hear anything. Especially being submerged. I'm looking at going away from this set up to a Precision raceworks stage 4.5 kit with the BW anti surge tank. I'm just worried there will be too much going on in the tank to fit in in.

My car broke on the second lap of my track day in the fall. Naturally my tank is mostly full. Can I access the hatch to pump out most of the gas? The BW instructions say to activate the fuel pump to drain but I can’t find that option on my foxwell device.

You can, though depending on how full your tank is a bunch may spill out of the hatch (tank has diagonal shape where the hatch sits, so it's not at a true high point). Definitely "burp" the tank first to vent any vapor pressure by opening fill cap and poking the flap. If you have like a transfer pump maybe worth trying to siphon off through the fill tube first

Most newer vehicles have an anti siphon setup in the fuel filler neck. Have you tried it?

I just siphoned mine off when I pulled the lid. Was not completely full but pretty close. It shouldn't be so full that it spills over.

Update. I went to autozone and got a cheap siphon to get as much gas out through the filler neck. With a 3.5-4 foot ish hose. Good news is we don’t seem to have an anti siphon valve. Bad news is that is not nearly enough to prevent an Exxon Valdez environmental disaster when you crack that ring free. Thank god I had that tool or I would have been really screwed. 😂

The hardest part of the install is pushing the damn wires through the rubber grommet on the tank cover. With that said does anyone know the size or type connector I should be looking for to get? Wiring is NOT in my skill set. 😂

For anyone reading in the future these are Delphi weatherpak connectors and the pins are 14 16 awg.

Got everything plugged in now and can hear the pump running. Look forward to testing in a couple weeks.

This looks familiar in case anyone needs replacements:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/26582454057...QaAk4bEALw_wcB

Still need to get around to figuring out why I can't hear mine... not much else to do in light of various factors which are conspiring to stop me from actually getting the car on a damn track.
