Does pulling Fuse #2 disable active sound?
I have seen a few options for disabling active sound, ranging from coding to unplugging the unit in the boot (for some crazy people you may call it a trunk).
Was just reading a thread from mid 2014. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1004633 SoN][c says "Sales guy told me fuse #2 controls the amp to the active sound so if you want to disable it you just yank that fuse." Can anyone confirm that? I don't get my car until later this month, but I would really like a simple way to test disabling/enabling active sound. I like a quite cabin unless I'm having a bit of fun. |

Can't say whether or not any specific fuse disables ASD, but most likely, whichever fuse does likely also controls something else that you might not want to affect.
This thread provides a way to deactivate ASD relatively easy, without resorting to coding it out.
