That's a sharp-looking track setup! If you ever see our trailer in the Laguna Paddock, swing by and say hi! We always love seeing our customers at the track.

Our customer Grayson (@deity.46) sent in these shots of his new set of VS-5RS wheels on his F80. While staggered fitments are a common option for these cars, this 18x10 ET25 square setup looks undeniably fantastic on a set of Anthracite VS-5RS wheels.

Wheels: VS-5RS
Front & Rear: 18x10 ET25

Tires: Yokohama Advan APEX
Front & Rear: 275/40-18

I'm so sorry for the confusion. Flow Formed. Was just moving too fast when typing I guess.

Thanks

No worries, thanks for the pics. I like the SM10 design and I like the silver. Would be nice if some day they made it forged

Are you trying to tell us something .....
Joking aside, sm10 design seems popular, and now that we have forged ec7 and the split 5 spoke design pictured above, maybe sm10 is next?

18" VS-5RS in Brushed Clear

18x10 et25 front with 275/35/18 Nitto G2
18x11 et44 rear with 315/30/18 Toyo R888R (plans to run Nitto R2s later, when they're available)
Car is on H&R lowering springs.

Personally I'm pretty obsessed with this brushed clear look.

Forgot to add. Lowered on EMD springs with the rear spacer installed. Front rubbed on the fender to bumper joint so trimmed it down a bit and it stopped. Slight rub on back of front left fender liner. But 265/35/19 rubbed as well. Did a layer of jbweld on the strip of fender liner where it wears to prevent it from making a hole and has been holding up.

I ordered the EC-7 19" Black Wheel through Basic Performance in Korea. My second apex wheel. Delivery is expected around the end of August, so I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone running a 19x10.5 +22 in the rear on their F8x? Tossed on a set of ARC8's and trying to figure out how to make them fit in the rear when lowered. On 305/30 RT660's right now and it's all good on stock suspension, but no way they'd fit when lowered.

Looking good! Basic's a great shop to work with for our Korean customers.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I got an F80 a few months ago, and I am starting to try and figure out my summer/track and winter wheel setups and was hoping for some advice.

Right now, the car has 666m wheels with Pilot Sport 4s in the front and Sport Cup 2s in the back. Not sure why the previous owner set it up like that, but it is how it sits now.

I live in Philadelphia where the winters are very mild with little snow but it does hover around/below 40 degrees a couple months out of the year. At first I was thinking about getting a set of Apex wheels with all season tires as a street setup and getting two more Sport Cup 2s and using the 666m wheels for the track but the more I look into it this I feel like it backwards and I should get some all seasons/winter tires for the 666m wheels and then get a Apex recommended street/track setup to run a majority of the year.

I am a total noob when it comes to RWD cars (was a subaru guy before) as well as track stuff so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

use 666 for winter. I am also in Philly and use bstone lm32 on my 335 rwd. The biggest issue is freezing rain and ice but it's rare. I drove thru snow and ice on these and they are great. The most important for me is braking and turning when it's icy. If it's really bad outside don't drive cause you might get hit.

also look into bmw recommended winter wheel package and try to be as close as you can. in general you should use narrower tires in winter to improve traction. Many folks also use all season tires like conti but I don't trust them on rwd high tq bimmer when we get 20 deg.

use apex for track. also be careful with current mismatched tires!
