Keep drinking. As you know, LRP is an unforgiving track. Don't feel badly about bailing. I've done it.

Maybe you can drive the new autoX course? You can slide around risk free.

As long as I go to Black Rabbit then my LRP trip was worth it. I absolutely love that place.

Watch for those puddles in the left hander.

I'll see you at a few of those
6/5 Autobahn South with Northwoods Shelby
7/12 Blackhawk PCA
9/30-10/2 RA with BMW CCA

Still looking at an august event. Might do the badger bimmers one, but its kinda expensive for a weekday at blackhawk. Thinking I'll do it later in august with northwoods shelby if this weekend is run well.

My M3 is coming out of the shop tomorrow with fresh brakes (hawk pads/OEM rotors/motul 660 fluids), stainless brake line mods, and Redline Oil. I roasted the OEM rotors and pads at BlackHawk a couple of weeks back.

Now that the car is track ready, and the weather is perfect, I called an audible and signed up for Road America, Northwoods Shelby Club, June 23-26th. They have some spots open in Run Group 3. You have to email the club to get in as it's pretty much sold out. I'll only being doing Sunday.

Will be my first run with the M3 at Road America. It's my favorite track and I'm really excited to see how well the car does against my GT4 numbers.

LRP on 7-5
WGI on 7-11

Both with SCDA. Going to run my 3 day old NT01s from last summer after a few unsuccessful events with the Nankang CR1 in warmer temps.

I'm mostly concerned with the tire keeping up with my brakes as it feels the brakes have overwhelmed the CR1 to this point. Both of the long straights at WGI have led to less than stable braking and the main straight at LRP has been less than ideal as well. If the NT01 underperforms then I need to move to stickier tires.

Nice!... bimmerpost party at the Glen on 7/11. I'll be there, and D_SheerDrivingPleasure should be as well. Still making up my mind on the CR-1s (285/315). Achieved a new PB at Lightning on them, but unclear if that was driver or tire or both. At Thunderbolt I could still only match my prior best, which was achieved on corded NT01s. At WGI will be doing inaugural run on 295 AR-1 square setup, though will only be my 2nd event at WGI.

Next time I'm back at NJMP will put the CR-1s back on and see what more I can do along with my new Catalyst

Awesome.
I'll be at the Glen 7/11 and 7/12 also. Going to be some serious F80 hardware at this event.

The last 2 times I was at the Glen I was still running MPS4S tires; this will be my first event there with my RT660s and MCS 3-way. Looking forward to seeing what kind of times I can put down with the car mostly sorted now.

I'm going to VIR with NASA, this August 19,20,21st

Anyone with a F8x going?

I currently have a 2018 Camaro SS 1LE. Planning on selling it at the end of the year and getting a F8x

If love to see one in person on track and discuss how it does.

Eric
