Finally had a chance to install the girodisc rotors.

Wanted to try these new re71rs but ended up putting 295/35 square

Zero rubbing issues

Front camber -3.6
Rear camber -2.2

Awesome that those tires fit upfront,, especially on OEM suspension. That extra sidewall would be great for an arrive/drive car that has to deal with crappy roads like mine. What wheel/offsets? Sorry if already noted above.

Does 295/35 rub in full turn in the front? And does the rear tire rub the fender when drive pass the big bumps on the street?

Front doesn’t rub. There’s like 1-2mm clearance to fender liner.

Rear barely clears. There was a little hint of rubbing on big dips. But it stopped

If my rear camber was -2.6 or more I think it’ll be perfect. But I’m keeping it how it is now at -2.2

Not sure how common this is. But when shifting from 1st to second I would always get “locked out” if I was trying to power shift.

Decided to change my tranny bushing and it was literraly cut in half …

The solid bushings fixed the issue

do you have any pics that show how the 295/35/18 sits on the 10.5" wheel?
According to Tirerack the recommended wheel width for 295/35/18 RE71RS is 10 to 11.5" and the tread width is 10.7". Wondering if it is pinched on a 10.5" wheel. Thanks.

Was at Sebring this weekend. Still have braking issues. Have to brake really early just to make sure I stop. Instead of a 100% pedal. Brakes only work around 40% or lower. Forsure it’s fluid issue at this point. Car felt great nonetheless.

Added brake ducts to the f80 to see if it lol solve the problem at the track. It definitely helped. But my brakes get spongy and basically become pretty sketchy after 9-11minutes.

I think the brake pad is over heated from my previous setup?
Next time I’m out I’ll change to a fresh pfc11 pad up front.

Car definelty needs ausupenaion now. Feel like the car is pivoting dramatically from every throttle, brake, and turn input.

Dropped 3 seconds from my previous pb nonetheless.

I had to squeeze the ducts alot to prevent rubbing. I am running a tall tire 295/35. If you’re 30 you’ll have alot more space. The ducts still shoot tons of air when I tested it with a leaf blower.

Remove the air dam for your front coolers. Makes a ton of more space

That’s crazy! You managed to fit 295/35/18 on stock suspension.

I’m also looking to run that tire size but on a 11” rim just like Assist’s M4. I’m on Ohlins R&T and I have full suite SPL arms.

Knowing that you have experience fitting that size you think I can fit 18x11 +34 (with spacers of course) with 295/35/18 in the front?
