Lower armrest with bucket seats for center console.

Hi everyone.
i wonder if anyone has done something to the armrest on the center console. I have the GTS seats in my M4 comp. and therefrore i sit lower. I feel that it would be nice to have a lower armrest when shifting sometimes as it's easier to hit the armrest with the elbow in the lower seatposition. Any ideas?

You could get the CS/GTS center console that doesn't have the armrest.

There's was a guy on here who was making and selling low profile alcantara armrests awhile back. You could try searching for it and see if he has any left

OR

You could find a used armrest, take it apart and use that as a base for your modifications. I don't know what's inside of it, but surely is not difficult to dismantle it and put a different padding in it. You'd still want to access the storage space under the armrest, right

Yes, i thought about that too. I have the m performance interior so i would need to match the armrest to that with the red/blue stitched alcantara but maybe i can ask my carpenter to sew in the threads so it looks good.

Ok! Looks good! Did you just change the top carbon piece or did you have to change the whole center console? I suppose the carbon piece isn't OEM BMW? Where did you find that? Price?

It's all OEM I had the Alcantara taken off and my buddy Carbon all of it. Even the front area around the shifter is all OEM from the CS. Then I PPFd it. Cost me $450 for all including PPF

Thanks, looks good but i only want OEM genuine carbon parts as my whole car already has that from the factory.

all the parts you see are OEM, they are overlaid in carbon. The carbon Is a perfect match to factory and the fitment is perfect OEM here is an example the shift piece is from BMW and the rest is from the company. What crazy is the 3 button piece was done at a different time as the cup holder piece.
