Just did V1 fronts only for now. The car rides better if any but not far from stock. And I like how it currently looks. I hardly see any rake visually but measuring the rear and front side lip does show a 1" difference. So now my issue is should I install the rears given the difference is only like .2" and OE spring rate is 591 lbs/in vs 628 lbs/in.
I guess I'll drive her more and let it settle before deciding to change.
For the ones who only did the fronts for a while now, are you still happy with the ride quality and stance?

It would be nice to hear from long term users of v1 fronts only and their thoughts and impressions on it. I’ve only driven mine for like 3x, but so far so good.

Huge +1 for Eibach euro v1 front only. Just installed today so could settle a bit but I couldn't be happier. No noticeable difference in ride quality.

Hi, i just installed my Euro V1 on non zcp M4 with EDC few days ago. The ride is pretty much like stock and the drop is a perfect subtle drop which the car should've looked like from the factory. I have a MP lip and doesn't scrape. I love the look, should've did it sooner.

Installed the rear Eibach v1s

I did not install my rear Eibach v1's right away as plenty here have not. But today I decided to do so and would like to share my observation and experience doing it on my own.

There is a lot of install instructions all over the web so this is just supplemental for DIY at home on your own.

The whole process itself is simple but can be labor extensive if you are by yourself as that one suspension arm bolt you need to take out can be tight as hell. It can be a lot easier if you have an air impact wrench and a lift. I only had a battery operated impact wrench which still helped a lot.
After you have taken out the bolt you have to push down on the arm to release the springs and being one person and no lift it can get difficult due to lack of space but can still be done. I temporarily used a total of 4" wood material to prop the arm down so I can take out and put in the springs easier.
When reassembling make sure all the rubber isolators are in its proper orientation. I even added the rubber sleeves on the new springs but is probably unecessary. Make sure the hole on the suspension arm lines up well to the frame using a jack prior to putting the bolt back in to avoid frustration.

As far as results. At stock height I measured from fender to ground and it was dead on 26-1/2" on both sides.

I put the stock and eibach springs side by side and as you can see the stock springs does look taller and it has extra dead springs on top and bottom where rubber sleeves are placed. While the eibach is linear from end to end. I also measured the thickness of the steel coils and they are exactly the same.

The car now sits at 26-3/8" both sides. A mere 1/8" difference lower. But I''m assuming it will still settle a bit. I'll re-measure after a few weeks.
I drove the car a bit after and the rear feels very close to stock but a tad firmer. and it looks slightly less raked.

Do I recommend replacing it after this experience? I would think if your M3 already has higher miles like 20k or so. I would replace front and rears with it to even out as intended.

I just checked again and I could no longer fit my middle finger between rubber and fender. It definitely is tighter now.

Would you say the wheel gap on the front is equal to the gap in the rear now?

Do you have any pics after settling?

Installed 295/30/20 PS4S in the rear this weekend and wow there's almost no clearance with the Eibach V2. The passenger rear spring as settled slightly more than the driver side after 10k miles, but I can't fit much of my fingers between the tire and fender on either side. Had to remove the 10mm spacers I was using with 285/30/20 PSS, which is an inferior tire, but I prefer the appearance of that setup. Have not rubbed yet, but a massive bump could shred the fender liner. I may go back to the stock rear springs before it's too late

Thanks for this feedback. I think I will just pony up the extra dollars for the M branded adjustable springs when I get around to dropping my car.

This looks perfect.

I notice those with V1 all around, the rear look squatted to me. Like there is a dead body in the trunk. I prefer equal gaps.

True, but it’s more level, less scraping up front and less dragster or rake look (not saying that’s a bad look) Plus you will never get an equal gap. Either way better than no drop at all.

Maybe it’s the camera angle. But front only looks level to me.

A hundred miles later on smooth & treacherous roads, I ever so slightly rubbed the passenger rear fender on a massive highway offramp bump. While I love how the V2 lowers the F80 rear hips to appear shrink wrapped over the tires, they have settled too much for my taste after 12k miles and I'm hitting my (uncut) bumpstops way too often. I'm going back to stock rear springs this weekend & leaving the V2 fronts in.

Those are definitely pricey, yet the reviews are excellent and the OEM peace of mind may be worth it. As a cheaper alternative, consider a front only drop as many in this thread have mentioned.
