What time are you heading over there? If you are in Henderson, we could cruise over together.

I usually like to get there when it starts at 8 because this one can be difficult to park at as you'll see if you've been there. I usually leave around 7:45-ish. If you want to meet me at the AM-PM off Stephanie and Russell near the 95/515, we can cruise over.

Hi guys, quick question. I have an aftermarket shift paddle that came lose. Can anyone recommend a good local shop or do you know a BMW tech that might be able to properly reattach it?

It's pretty easy to take off the steering wheel and change it or fix the paddles I've taken my steering wheel off like 3 times due to getting a different wheel every time but pretty happy with how it sits now

Did you do your paddles? I have the same ones and eight one came off completely. I’m not sure what it’s missing.

Is there a specific video you used? Is it as easy as it looks. I feel like I may be missing some screw of my paddle.

Yes, It was originally equipped with paddle shifters. The previous owner installed these, but I have the originals too. The shifter still works, but it slides right off.

No worries. I understand mods that cause problems! BMW told me I need a new steering wheel, just to attach any paddles because the brackets are broken!

Damageprone and I were talking about going to Speinf Moutain next weekend for the PCA track day. If you are open this coming weekend, we could do a cruise up there.

Since you bought it that way and it's still under warranty, I'd try to have them replace it under warranty if possible. It's worth a shot. Worse they can say is no

Hahah, they know it had aftermarket paddles. So I may be out of luck. I could, change to a stock paddle on the left side and try again, but if the system mentions the afternrt paddles, it might be a quick denial. Also an opportunity to upgrade the steering wheel entirely or better yet, upgrade to an M3!

Just try and see, you never know, especially if you bought it that way. BMW Henderson has been pretty awesome with my warranty repairs and never batted an eye when I brought stuff up where people on the forums had issues with their dealerships.
