Where do people stay overnight near The Ridge?

Going to The Ridge for the first time and was wondering where people stay if they come to the area the night before? I typically prefer to overnight it if the track isn't in my "backyard."

It's not that long a drive depending on where you live. I'm about two hours away and made the trek there last weekend for their Kart track opening up for the season. I've never stayed in Shelton but have visited and don't recall there being much there. A quick scan of the map shows a Super 8 and Shelton Inn.

Also their new "restaurant" kitchen serves delicious burgers and fries!

Garage List
Generally stay in Olympia. The hotel and food options are better than Shelton.

If you want somewhere that's nicer, then Alderbrook is 20 minutes away. https://www.alderbrookresort.com/

Realistically there's not a lot out that way, but it was a decent spot to stay. At least back in '16 when I did it last.

Do'h!
Don't know why I didn't think of this. I second this place. It's a spa resort, has a good restaurant and there are some little restaurants around (I've only eaten at the pizza place and the Mexican restaurant). You can also opt for the little cabins they have.

Nice, thanks for the recs - didn’t realize it’s only 1.5 hours if I leave at 5:30 so I’ll do that this time around. Alderbrook looks pretty cool tho - bookmarking that one!
