Just updating things regarding the weather...PGC's cars and coffee is a rain or shine event. They will not be postponing if there is inclement weather. That being said...the forecast is starting to go south for Saturday morning unfortunately. If that trend continues I can do one of two things: 1) leave the drive as is and you guys brave the weather or 2) postpone until Sunday and just install the old "Van Sant" airport drive that we did back on the Sunrise Drive in June. Totally up to you guys and we do have a few days to see if the forecast turns better. Sunday is looking like a better weather day at this point.

I will not be joining if the weather is not cooperative, so my vote is to postpone to Sunday if necessary.

Regardless, please continue to update us on the final decision.

Thanks, Chris.

Will let you know as soon as I get a clearer picture of the weather. I'm working on an alternate route and perhaps meeting point. There were two different drives that were going to go to PGC on Saturday...and I may just combine them into one group for a Sunday Drive. Will post up as soon as I have it worked out...stay tuned!

***Ok...Saturday morning is postponed to Sunday morning due to the impending weather. The forecast continues to get worse. As I mentioned before, PGC is rain or shine on Saturday so we will not have a venue to end at on Sunday. To make things easier, I'm hoping to combine the two drives (BMWs and non BMWs) in to one drive. Please take note WE WILL MEET AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION.

Peace Valley Park, Sailor's Point Parking lot area. Much better spot for early morning pictures.

759 New Galena Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914.

I will post the new route to this thread shortly. Hopefully this doesn't cause too much of an inconvenience but the weather forecast really wreaked havoc on the plans.***

Shared route
From Sailor's Point at Peace Valley Park, 759 New Galena Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914 to Van Sant Airport, 516 Cafferty Rd, Erwinna, PA 18920 via New Galena Rd and Point Pleasant Pike.

Dropping out of this one.

**FYI**
The roads might be too slick for spirited driving.

It should be sufficiently dry by Sunday morning at 7am...plus with the size of the group, not sure how "spirited" it will be. If you have been on our previous drives, it's pretty tame. I'm driving nearly a 16 year old Aston Martin and will be setting the pace...trust me when I say that if people are expecting a rally stage, they will be severely disappointed.

To those still planning on joining for Sunday. We can hang back 10 or so minutes from the mixed group, or fill in with the larger group. I am open to either and can lead the bmw group if we go that direction.

Update: After the drive for those interested we will continue to our normal Saturday Deutsche Autokaffe-Gruppe meeting spot. There is a Panera for food and coffee!

Well...as usual meteorologists suck. Yes it rained a little bit, but hardly the gully washer that was called for. Looks like by noon everything will be passed and the sun should be out later to dry everything up. So tomorrow morning should be beautiful. See you all at Peace Valley Park in the morning!

No can do. Have a C&C event tomorrow to attend. But I'm looking to do the annual Fall tour Oct 16. Have fun and post pics.

Just a reminder, because it inevitably happens...please remember to fuel up before the drive. We don't stop once we leave the park until we get to Van Sant Airport.

If BMW didn't take a year to get me one I would have stayed...but the wait times are ridiculous. Went with a car I've had a man crush on for years, the Vantage.
