Nice looking car! One thing not mentioned yet is carbon mirror caps. Subtle but nice visual upgrade.

Definitely something I thought about it.

But I want to showcase the beautiful red as much as possible, so not going to do any of the front fins or accent pieces that are offered in carbon fiber like the mirror caps.

With just about a year of ownership the car has been a dream, have maintained the car as stock aside from a few upgrades which I would consider OEM+ (UCP, AA EL Mid, SSK).

Just added an AutoSolutions Short Shift Kit which I wish I had done day 1 as it has made driving much more enjoyable... and will be installing the paint matched MSR intake once it arrives next week.

Cars coming along nicely!

Ik you said no front carbon to keep from covering up any of the Imola... but I suggest getting upper carbon splitters from Euro Customs PR or Sterckken. Would give it some contrast and balance upfront, imo.

Thoughts on UCP?
I have the auto solutions SSK, but wondering what the UCP adds.

Appreciate it 11LMBiSTT! I have seen the upper Carbon splitters but i'm a bit OCD on fitment and feel like there's always a slight gap on those.

So my biggest complaint when I got the car stock was how sloppy the clutch engagement was. There was far too much "dead space" before the clutch activated and while a clutch stop helped slightly it didn't really make it that much better.

The UCP replaces the plastic pedal with an aluminum one so the feeling is more solid, you get stronger bushings and a shorter clutch throw and lower resting point so it actually sits behind both my other pedals. You can also change the spring location to adjust the pressure and the feel of the pedal engagement.

The dead space went away completely and I instantly felt like I had more precision and control with my clutch engagement. I suppose for a new or inexperienced manual driver the dead space/slop might be nice??? Don't really understand why it came like that stock but the combination of UCP, SSK, and removing the CDV has been worlds better.

Thanks. I have the clutch stop, the AutoSolutions SSK and removed the CDV. The last piece of the puzzle is the UCP.
I guess that will be next on the list.
Any bother with the clutch not being level with the other pedals?

It's very slight and don't notice it at all, with the shorter throw my legs actually feel more aligned in terms of extension if I were to be flooring it vs. fully depressing the clutch.

When I had the stock clutch pedal my left leg was either more stretched to fully depress the clutch or my right felt a bit cramped.

New addition to the car today, paint matched MSR front mounted air intakes.

Sound is incredible right off the bat, a bit of breaking in to do that will come with driving but the turbo spooling is unlike any other intake i've heard.

A bit of a pain to install but thanks to some help from RugbyBro we got it in there with no major issues.

Finally decided on a new wheel setup from richlandforged 19" "Project Nürburg" (RF-GT4) in Gloss Black on some PS4S's.

Need to give it a wash and get those tires shined to match the gloss on the rims.

They are extremely well made, couldn't be happier and fitment is perfect. Super nice to be able to get a wider rim in the OEM styling and in any finish.

I'm on the MPHAS, not fully lowered though I think could go down another 5 mm but I prefer to give my lip a little breathing room.

Some more pics after a wash and some tire finish put on.

Also ended up tuning with an OTS Pro tune from Jordan Tuned through BM3, 600 WHP/640 WTQ and god damn... couldn't be happier

Congrats to the car! Styling wise i would never put on any aftermarket or China stuff on the car. The fitment, flatness and quality is not the same as genuine M performance parts. I don't think that they are tested the way BMW do either when it comes to aerodynamics and fastening. Also for the value of the car i would choose genuine stuff only.
I would swap out the bad EDC suspension first to a quality set of coilovers. Then you get an improvement of the car instead of just looks.
