Considering how much you must have paid to have the dealer install, I would consider getting a second opinion on the install and then taking it back to the dealer.

As others have said that's not the lowest setting whether it settled or not. Hopefully you can get it checked out. |

Not even sure how you can mess up this install, but just make sure.

Yeah I spoke with my CA and the mechanic who did the install. He said it's not really possible to mess up the install and confirmed mine are set at the lowest point. Can't speak to other photos in the thread... I'll post some pics of my springs...

Oh wow. So I can tell you the bump stop that's floating around in there inside the spring coils is not supposed to be there. Youre likely riding on the original bumpstops which is why the car is sitting higher than it should. Especially at that setting. That bumpstop should replace the original factory one that's on the shock. I wonder if they left the front original bumpstops in there. I can't believe someone just tossed the bumpstop in there... That's crazy.

Replied to your PM but will post here as well- the original bumpstops are removed and replaced with the ones included in the MPHAS.

Holy crap! They left the new bumpstop inside the spring (duh!!!). The only reason I can think of is because the stop is packaged inside the spring when you get the part kit and open it up. The factory bump is kinda glued to the top damper mount, but that's no reason to leave it there. Somebody did an oops.

PKL: your car looks like the perfect height. It might very well be set to the lowest setting, but if you are using the factory bump stops, then it's not as low as it can go.
Look at photos of my fronts, which is at lowest setting possible and uses the new bump stops they comes with the MPHAS. |

The mechanic left the two rear oem bump stops in the spring.... geez One good thing about overpaying for this install at the dealer is they took the car in asap and made it right. I have a really good relationship with my CA / dealer. Anyway, got 4 perfect photos of the whole assembly while the wheel is off, and everything looks exactly right now.

PKL: I'm glad the dealer is making things right for no charge (as they should) for labor. They are going to give you a new alignment free too right?
