First spy pictures : BMW M4 Cabrio

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
The first prototypes of the first BMW M4 Cabrio have been spotted as they commence their public testing.

The first pictures were submitted to the Autogespot web site. Where you can apparently see my 1M and E61 M5 Touring somewhere.

We should see more in the coming days , weeks as the paparazzi gets in to the swing of things.

Hopefully in the last eight years, someone at BMW has figured out how to order some black window trim for the M3 convertibles.

You can get it, just not in the US.

But, yes, please make it at least a no charge option if not standard for the F83, BMW NA.

You can totally see where the lights touch the grill,
The extra prominence in the grill, the size of the air intakes,
The mirror design and the shape and dimensions of the boomerang. I have a feeling the rear wheel arches will be sufficiently widened but the rear quarter ls will stretch to meet the flaring and the front will jut pop out to where the boomerang part of the fender is

Could not agree more! If I had an e93 M3 I would have ordered the euro parts and install them I just don't understand why BMW NA has these things they dont offer while they are offered in Europe. Especially something so seemingly easy as window trim.

Sweet. I guess it will look a lot like the coupe when the top is up. Waiting with baited breath for the M4.

Agreed! But 5 years...not 8. This only started in 2008 with the E93. The E46 convertible always had black trim.

Once I see the car in person, it will tell me everything I need to know whether BMW has made a mistake or not. Pictures just don't tell the full story.

The roof actually looks alot like an e93 roof. Very similar shape. Should be interetsting. Hopeing that the M4 Convertible dosent take too much longer to come out, i cant wait!

Sure it is technically possible, but I don't know that it is very likely. One thing they might do is use more aluminum for the F33 greenhouse and top mechanics which would naturally carry over to the F83. We should have more info about that by November or so.
