This thread did give me the idea to vinyl wrap my car in swirl pattern so that people get excited over nothing. I'm pretty sure we all already know about 95% what that car will look like.

The side pic at least is a coupe... The roof line is more sloppy than the sedan...

Yes it's standard on the E92 M3 unless you get the moonroof.

I think the reason the F82 fenders start to look a little bit like an E30 M3 is because it has the F32 character line in the rear that the F30 (and thus F80) does not. Once the camo is off, I don't think the flared fenders will necessarily appear to evoke the E30 M3, which looks like someone literally grabbed the sheet metal on all four corners and yanked on it.

That said, I definitely agree that the flares are looking mighty aggressive on these new M's, and I really have no idea what that other poster was going on about.

You talk like your E92 M3 is the last great M3,it is not.The design is not a classic like the E46 M3 and it weighs to much.
I am looking forward to the new M4 being the same weight as the E46 M3 and once again hearing the incredible sounds of the inline 6 cylinder engine.
says the guy who never owned an E92 M3. I can almost hear your frustration missing out on the wholesome V8 M3.

Often at times it just takes a small tweak in the bumper styling, side profile, stance etc to make a car look WAY better.

+1 those with the trained eye are the only ones that count!

I have driven the car and know how it drives. If you like the car then enjoy, but I find the car way to heavy and not fun to drive.Keep laughing.

I'm wondering why the middle air scoop is small now. Did they forget what they did to the previous M3s? :

I don't see why not, though it may not be quick and straightforward. Has anyone ever put the OEM CFRP roof from an E92 M3, E63 M6 or F13 M6 on the respective non-M counterpart? If not, it might be that more cost effective aftermarket solutions exist. But if it has been done, then it should be possible here too.

The roof panel is not really structural, I've seen aftermarket carbon fiber roof panels for the E9x cars. You remove the factory roof panel and drop in the carbon one. Obviously you would want a shop that really knows what it's doing to take care of this for you, but it's not exactly rocket science.

I won't conclude anything until I see it in the showroom and drive it.

+100 One of the most sensible statements about the F80 I have read.

I don't see too much difference with the above pic with regular ones (of course we'll have to wait till reveal)nor i'd expect non-dramatic difference like the diff b/w E9x M & regular.
I only care about the performance, as it is still a 3/4 series.
Stance Stance Stance and STANCE!!!! Even my mother knows an M// car when she sees one.

Well they certainly picked a good heat test week in Vegas. The weather has been brutal.

These shots (not in the strip ones) were taken only a few miles from my work, so upset I didn't see them.

BTW - hello all - first time poster - long, long, long time reader.

Is that the X5M with it? The front end doesn't look aggressive enough but, it looks like it has quad exhausts and sits lower than I would expect the standard X5 to. They've already unveiled the new one so why would it still have camo?

Yes, X5 M. Still under testing - see http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=837056

Love the M4 very promising but I don't really see to much of the usual aggressive looks, wait and see... All those people may not even notice the -beast- that pass in front of their eyes.
