Idk I think it will be very unique. I would rather have a light blue over a very dark blue. I guess it depends we're you live too. I don't think many people reaction will be like that's a ugly color but a awesome car. I think people will like the car more for its color!

I suppose location plays a role. In SoCal, a metallic baby blue car wouldn't be cause for concern (..especially in sea of yellows, blues, matte colors and the occasional chrome). In Oklahoma, you might get heckled a bit.

Im trying to place my order on my m3. I cant decide what to do about color. I like yas marina blue, but im nervous because i wish i could see it in person so for those who have seen it can i get some feed back. The other color im thing about is mineral white which pictures got posted of today and looks great.

Love it I ordered it. People are hating on it but it is tied for second most popular on our current order tracking thread. Most people that are hating probably want the same old boring AW. AW lovers seem to haters for some reason. Maybe because they are angry that they can't break their mold and are worried about what co workers will think. Do it you'll love it.

Its amazing in person. The color changes dramatically between a powder blue and a deeper blue that resembles Monte Carlo Blue. The clear coat on this color looks especially thick and shiny, almost like it has more layers of clear on it (compared to my previous Mineral Grey, Glacier Silver, AW vehicles).

The color gets hated on occasionally-usually for the first couple minutes seeing it, then opinions start to change. Some love it immediately.

I have always owned siver, grey and white cars because I like that those colors show all of the details of the vehicle. This new blue has me completely sold as it looks very motorsport (almost the same color of the light blue M stripe in the "///M" logo). The color has been described as "Rude" which I actually think is great. The car in general is rude- its loud, aggressive, menacing and this color is almost an oxymoron in a sense, since some might find it to be feminine until they hear and experience it for themselves.

I saw interlagos blue M3 today so glad they didn't go that blue route. It is way to dark and doesn't look good. Glad they went the lighter route.
