I had a bad experience at tire23. They scratched my wheels and tore the tire sidewall.
What made it worse was they wouldn't accept responsibility. I'd never do there even if was free. What about factory tire? |

they may be ok too. I only know lots of Porsche owners go to Braiden to do their tires, even though Braiden does charge more.
Just ask the shop to see how the machine clamp onto the wheel during the changing process. The old machine will have some kind of "teeth" and grip on to the inner barrel, thus leaving teeth mark on them. |

One staff (Asian guy, Dan .. if I recalled correctly) is now running a tire/wheel shop in Scarborough (with a few other partners). Shop is CEO tires. I had a long chat with him when I replaced one of my tire there back in June 2019. |

So I went to braidan tire and was told they have the best touchless machine and guaranteed not to damage my wheel...
Guess what? They damaged my wheel! So disappointed. Went out of my way and long drive to get to there. Is bmw dealership any better? Maybe I'll try rennsport. Last edited by parabmw; 07-16-2019 at 04:38 PM.. |

They said one of their tire machines was a mosport for the mfest. I wonder if they had the good new one at the shop or not... They've offered to refinish the wheel. However they'd need to send the wheel to Montreal for 1 week. I dont have a spare tire. Hopefully they just pay me the cost and I deal with it later. I shouldn't have to be down 1 week and be forced to go where they want me to go. Also they're like a hour away with no Saturday's. I shouldn't have to take time off work. You can propose to Braiden that you will give them the affected wheel when you do the seasonal switch over in the Fall. If both of you are okay, then just get an email as confirmation for the agreed arrangement so that nobody will back out of this when the time comes.

what wheel type is damaged? If it is the 437 those are difficult to match but you can a get a near (but not perfect) match. However, you will have to include a second wheel to match to.
