Welp, add me to the bandwagon jump crew
Actually I bought these early this year, but went back/forth/back/forth on whether I made the right decision on getting the Black Line (smoked).
My friend pointed out the fact that i have enough accents on the rear of my car that he thought it would play. I saw some pics of White F30's with the Black Line, but it just wasn't the same. So i made this video to show specifically what a Mineral White F80 M3 looks like with the Black Version. Enjoy!

i hate you now! I just ordered red lights from Abdul and i love how the smoked lights look on your car. pls post more pics of the back with lights installed.

Thanks for the video and post. I'm considering a set of these, but in red. My F80 is in Silverstone. Am worried that in smoke black, it may look a little too "tuner style" for me. My first car back in 2001 was an Acura Integra and I got a similar styled light "Altezza" style, and looking back - it was a little too ricey. It has to be a certain vehicle and mod style to pull it off and I think yours does.

Did you get yours from Abdul? How do warranties work if they come up? Do we have to go through Abdul?

Anyone elses turn signals dim during the daytime? Cant really check unless you have someone driving behind you.

Yes unfortunately, and the issue is exacerbated in direct sunlight. I've driven behind the red V2's and the turn signals are no where near as bright as the OEM turn signals

Happy to help! Yeah I think it takes a certain color car to pull of the black version (best on white or black cars IMO) Small world! My first car was a 2002 Acura RSX-S with a Jackson Racing Supercharger I completely get the conundrum with the color choice though

Yes they blink an orange-ish color due to the yellow light and red housing color. The manufacturer VLAND is the same regardless whom you buy the V2s from. I would have bought them from Abdul, but he was out of stock at the time.

So all V1 or V2 lights look like that in the daytime? That's not a defect? That might be a no-no for me then. I have been on the fence about this for a while. This might push me back over.

I haven't seen the V1s in real life, but I've seen two sets of the V2s in sunlight and the turn signals are dim. I have not been rear ended yet so not a deal breaker so far
